The Nest is a vibrant, welcoming space where creativity, connection and community come together. 

The Nest is a studio theatre in a thrust configuration which seats up to 120 people. Whether you're planning a performance, a workshop, a talk or simply need a space to rehearse, The Nest provides a supportive and professional environment. 

We hold dedicated programming windows throughout the year for public facing events and performances. 

Upcoming open hire periods are:

• 1 - 14 June 2026 - Fully booked
• 6 - 10 July 2026
• 10 - 23 August 2026
• 23 - 28 November 2026
• 7 - 11 December 2026
• 4 - 24 January 2027

The space is also available for private (non-publicised events) throughout the year. 

Support for Community Groups in Chichester

Thanks to support from Chichester City Council, we’re proud to offer subsidised hire rates to eligible community-based arts groups and organisations in Chichester.

To qualify for these subsidised rates, your group must be:

• A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), Community Interest Company (CIC), or other community-led arts/culture group
• Based within the City of Chichester
• Operating with an annual turnover under £650,000

• Dedicated Technician
• Ticketing services
