Moon River
Phoebe Hyder presents
–About Moon River
In a quiet cabin tucked beside the River Findhorn in Scotland, a girl tries to remember how to tie a fishing fly. Feathers, thread, and memory twist together as the water whispers outside. As she moves through the familiar motions, the space around her begins to stir — objects wake, and the past floods in.
Moon River is a non-verbal solo semi-autobiographical performance by Phoebe Hyder, blending puppetry, movement, and immersive XR to explore grief, memory, and the quiet intimacy of fly fishing. Through a sensory, visual world, the story unfolds without words — delicate, haunting, and deeply human.
A journey into love, loss, and the things we hold onto, spiral in to and experience the world of Moon River.
