Labours of Hercules
Joshua Crisp
About Labours of Hercules
The Greek hero Hercules has been placed under a curse by Hera, the Queen of the Gods. All he has to do to win his freedom is complete twelve labours. Twelve... impossible labours. Labours that will see him facing down the biggest, toughest monsters in Greek mythology. It's a good thing that Hercules has muscles where his brains should be, or he might be worried.
Comedy storyteller Joshua Crisp brings his dynamic storytelling style and gallery of impressions to create the entire cast of this epic myth himself, filled with unbelievable beasts, superhuman feats, and enough property destruction to rival a Hollywood blockbuster.
Co-founder of the Ropetackle Storytellers club and winner of the Made in Sussex Theatre Award 2025, Joshua Crisp is a rising star on the storytelling scene. He has been featured at the Get A Word in Edgeways Spoken Word Festival and Green Gathering Festival, and shares original stories on the podcast 100 Words of Astounding Beauty.
